"FT30" Armchairs by Cees Braakman for Pastoe - 1954
Ergonomic chair FT30 designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured during the 50's by UMS Pastoe in the Netherlands.
The legs and the armrests are made from oak. The seat was recently reupholstered in a red tweed with new foam.
Cees Braakman one of the leading Dutch midcentury designers together with Friso Kramer, Wim Rietveld jr, Kho Liang Le and Martin Visser was very much inspired by the works of Charles and Ray Eames.
