Ajour: “petite ouverture laissant passer le jour “, can freely be translated as a small opening allowing the daylight inside.

Starting as a volumetric exploration of reflective surfaces, it is the three-dimensionality of the aluminum extrusion that structures the mirror and counterbalances the fragility of glass. Through its reflections and projected light, the object plays with the perceived spatiality of a space, as a window would.

Ajour is the first object produced by Séjour Studio.
