Herman Miller Soft Pad Management Desk Chair
Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad management desk chairs, Model EA217, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969s. This models was edited in the 1980s and features a manual lift mechanism, and an adjustable four-star aluminum base with full 360-degree swivel. The plush cushions have been reupholstered with new 2in thick foam. Some deterioration of the fabric and rips around the lock mechanisms of the base layer. Some minor rubs and wear on the arms and aluminum base. The steel seat support has been recently welded to strengthen its structure.
Each chair measures 24 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 32 inches high, adjustable to 34 inches. They have a minimum seat height of 18.5 inches that is adjustable to 20.5 inches. Their seat has a depth of 16.5 inches.
