Rare "Ozoo" Lacquered Fiberglass Desk by Marc Berthier for D.A.N
The "Ozoo" lacquered fiberglass desk by Marc Berthier for French manufacturer D.A.N in 1967. Unibody fiberglass form with integrated book through, pen & pencil cup, and various other recessed spots to hold sundry small desk accessories. The Ozoo collection of furniture was later produced by Roche Bobois beginning in 1968, and won the Prix René Gabriel in 1970, France’s most prestigious design award. Finished in white polyester resin. Great condition. Two fine cracks near the pencil holding hole.
