When he was 21, in 1984, he entered the ‘Light Balance’ for the Kortrijk Interieur design competition and won second prize. It was then manufactured by Dutch company Luminance, which made declinations. This lamp is one of them and was made in Holland the the mid-eighties.
A clamp at the bottom of the wire enables to stabilise it on any hard surface and adjust the height of the lamp. The plastic shade has a tiny crack that was recently repaired.
