1968 'Peg Lev' Chair by Michel Arnoult for Mobile Contemporânea
The armchair ‘Peglev’ was designed in 1968 by the French designer, Michel Arnoult, for Brazilian manufacturer Mobile Contemporânea.
Michel Arnoult is considered as one of the fathers of the Ready-To-Assemble furniture (RTA) mouvement. Ardently defender of the democratisation and pioneer of flat packaging, ‘Peg Lev’ can be translated to "I take and I carry". The use of noble materials and the great care paid to the manufacturing and finishing processes, bring this iconic and very comfortable creation a timeless touch.
Rosewood in impeccable condition and leather saddle with a beautiful patina. While not affecting the look, three thin leather edges are missing.
